DESCRIPTION:Did someone say BBQ? \nSunday\, August 17 will be the return of the annual BCLP Summer BBQ. \nIt’ll be held at the residence of our party president Paul Geddes. \nAddress: 703-1180 Falcon Drive\, Coquitlam (yes\, the Lower Mainland – sorry to the folks across the rest of our beautiful province!) \nCome by after 4 p.m. for some great comradery amongst fellow freedom lovers and liberty chasers. \nPaul will have his grill fired up! The party will provide some hot dogs\, but feel free to bring your own meat or alternative protein to grill\, as well as a dish to share (salad\, snack\, dessert\, etc…you know the drill). BYOB. \nDon’t hesitate to bring a friend! DESCRIPTION:Join us for the B.C. Libertarian Party’s Annual General Meeting\, to be held Sunday\, May 31. \nThis year it will be held in the Lower Mainland again\, after hosting it in Kamloops in 2025. \nWe will have two options: \n1)      In person – $50\, will include dinner afterwords at the venue. \n2)      Virtual – $20\, with link to be sent out the day before or the morning of the AGM. \nClick HERE for tickets. Location: Richmond Country Club 9100 Steveston Hwy\, Richmond\, B.C. \nSPEAKER INFO: Dr. Brian Day\, who led a constitutional challenge to legalize private healthcare options across all provinces. \nMore information here and here. \n12:30 p.m. – AGM – Agenda to be shared by May 17 or sooner. \n2:00 p.m. – Election of new Executive \n2:30 p.m. – Leadership Confidence review \n3:00 p.m. – Break 3:30 p.m. – Speaker\, Dr. Brian Day. \n5:00 p.m. – Adjourn for Dinner. \nAt the AGM our outgoing Executives will report on the activities of the past year and vote on potential updates to bylaws or the constitution. We will hold elections for the vacant Executive roles\, followed by a Leadership Confidence review\, where the membership will decide if the current Leader and Deputy Leader should remain in their roles. The following roles may be up for election: President\, Vice President\, Secretary\, Treasurer\, Ethics Committee Chair\, and three (3) Executive Directors.
