Debate: Electing Libertarians vs. Changing Culture

In what we hope will be the first of many, two of our members (Alex Joehl and Neeraj Murarka) will be having a live-streamed debate:
Be it Resolved That: the primary goal of the BC Libertarian Party is to educate the masses in libertarian principles and shift the culture.
Fraser Valley CA President Andrew Coombes will moderate the debate, which will be in Lincoln-Douglas format. It will be live-streamed at 7pm, Fri Feb 25 on our Facebook page and Youtube channel where you’ll be able to submit your questions in the comments.
The matter up for discussion is whether the Party should focus squarely on electing candidates to the Legislature, or whether our efforts are better spent simply using elections to spread libertarian ideas. Alex and Neeraj have run as Libertarian candidates in the lower mainland, both provincially and federally.
